I have a really cool trunk I got from Hobby Lobby, and I also have this little wire cube system that I use as shelving and display yarn in.

too much yarn.

lets see...I have a three drawer rubbermaidish plasticky roll around thingy, a container under the bed, 2 duffel bags, and a few walmart bags that are *full* of yarn. :D

I have mine in several locations around the house, partially to make the amount less obvious to the husband, and partially because our house is full of clutter and it is hard to find a big enough space to set up a proper storeage area/workstation for knitting.

I have some in knitting stands and bags, some in platic bags, more in big plastic tubs/bins with lids. It really needs to be organised better but it is hard to know where to start when your DH & offspring are such hoarders and don't leave you space for your stuff. And not having much "me" time I prefer to spend it knitting, reading or gardening etc rather than more organising stuff in the house.

Some kind of cabinet which has places for accessories, yarn and knitting books would be wonderful. :XX:

Let's see....

At school, I don't have many clothes, so the bottom drawer of my dresser is filled with yarn, plus I have some on the shelf in my closet and then stuff I'm working on is in a desk drawer. When I'm home, it's mostly in a pile on the floor, covered in a blanket so the cats can't get to it.

Fortunately, my stash is not too overwhelming. I have a few bags and baskets of yarn, but I've certainly kept it under control.

I have a lot, in bins and large nylon laundry bags, but the yarn I'm using and plan to use soon, and the yarn I like to fantasize about is kept in those pop up mesh hampers. I can see what's in them, they're portable so I can move them around to get at the ones behind and under them (I said I have a lot--without much space). They were inexpensive, too.

Thanks, everyone. Those are some good ideas. Right now, mine is in plastic bags and a few are in those plastic rubbermaid containers.

I have some of those wire basket drawer thingies for my sewing (which I'm not doing much of anymore) so I may have to re-organize and get one of those out for the yarn!!

I have a three door pull out clear rubbermaid thingy... and 2 boxes in the closet full of yarn :D
