Reading patters, increasing and decreasing
I'm very new to knitting anything but a scarf. I was wondering if someone could help me read this pattern? I'm not too familiar with increasing and decreasing. If someone could help by telling me what "knitting in back and front of next K st" means refering to the videos?

K2, *inc 1 by knitting in back and front of next K st, K4, sl 1, k2 tog, psso, K4, inc in back and front of next st*, repeat between *'s twice more, end with K2.

Thanks

Knit front and back into stitch.

This shows sl1, k1, psso, but you'll knit two together instead of k1

You repeat the section of the line of pattern that's between the *'s two more times. In this case it would be the part that says:

*inc 1 by knitting in back and front of next K st, K4, sl 1, k2 tog, psso, K4, inc in back and front of next st*

So you'll k2, work the above line 3 times, then k2
