knit 1 perl one
When I knit and perl in the same row I get a messed up twisted yarn - what am I doing wrong?

Make sure when you are doing the knit stitch your working yarn is in back ... then bring the working yarn to the front BETWEEN the needles to purl ... take the yarn to the back between your two needles, knit.
If you cast on an odd number ... you always begin your row with knit.

I spent way to much time trying to figure this out from a book before I discovered the video! I learned everything I know except knit and purl from Amy
