Kimmie--I knit up some stuff for your project a long time ago and never sent it to you. I didn't read the entire thread, here. I was just wondering if you were still taking items. I have some hats, and a few blankets.

After having a very quiet thread for awhile, I got TWO unexpected, but very appreciated packages in the mail. First, Trudy (Ellen Edwards) sent me some really fabulous stitch markers that she made and then flecker sent a big package of precious little baby items. I can't wait to take pictures of everything and post them, but it'll have to wait til Wednesday probably because my life is full of commitments that have me going a thousand different directions.

I have missed everyone! I don't have as much time to post messages on the boards as I'd like, but I do read through new postings and whenever I see the names of the people who participated in this KAL I remember everything and how you all touched my life.

Wow! You guys did such a great job on this. I must be blind, because I never saw this thread before.

I've been knitting for Threads of Love, which does exactly the same thing, so I guess I shouldn't feel bad for not joining in.

Yay! Here are the pictures (finally!!!) of all the many precious little things that flecker made. I will bring them to the hospital in the next couple of weeks and I know that they will mean so much. Thank you flecker!!! I'm sorry it took me so long to post pictures. Each little item is so beautiful. The pictures don't do them justice.

And...here are the gorgeous stitch markers that Trudy made for me. Not only are they beautiful to look at and they make my works-in-progress so much more appealing, but they are especially special because Trudy made them out of the goodness of her heart. I'm so lucky!!

I think about this KAL often, it was one of the most touching experiences of my life. Thanks so much to you, Kimmie, for giving us all the opportunity to reach outside of ourselves.
