Knitting with boucle yarn
I bought some Lion Color Waves yarn because a customer in the shop said she had just made up a scarf with it and it turned out so pretty. I'm having trouble with it. The "curliness" of it makes the stitches seem to "stick" -- don't know if I am saying that right. Are there tips on using it, or should I just wait till I am a better knitter to use it?

Thanks!
Kathi

I think it's easier to use boucle if you use large needles. I just made a scarf with some alpaca blend boucle and I could feel the bumpiness wanting to catch, but with larger needles, it was better. I think I ended up using 10 1/2.

I also think metal needles are a help, too.

So bigger needles, metal needles, and then just "watch out" for it, huh?

OK, thanks!

That's my experience.
