Another small FO: Tiny blankie

This little blankie is for the compassionate knitting project KAL. Its a tiny blankie about 12" X 13" made with just over 1 oz of baby yarn. The pattern stitch doesn't look quite like it did in my book, but I think it looks fine anyway.

The colors are pretty, but I'm hoping the yarn softens up a bit after I wash it. It's an older skein of Red Heart Baby yarn and its a little bit on the scratchy side. A good wash in some baby detergent and a little fabric softener should help it.
