Ohhh woodstove...

We are putting ours in this summer

Better for heating and its ALOT cheaper than oil

I know nothing about woodstoves and oil having always lived in southern CA. We have a forced air heater and a wood burning fireplace, but the fireplace doesn't really provide much heat unless you are sitting in front of it.

Woodstoves are easy to take care of, but you have to know how to get them lit properly.

And not do what I did... which was I put the wood in first, THEN I put the newspaper in, then it flew out, caught some of the floor on fire

Well got Evan down for nap :zzz: so I can do a little knitting and sit and relax

Got 2 Lab mixes and Evan,and just to cold for anybody to go to play.Can get pretty nuts around here.So now I'm going to relax and knit something easy

Ahhhhh, this weather is good for the soul!

Keeps out the RiffRaff I say!. My mom moved to Phoenix for health and sanity reasons cuz of this type of thing...lol...but I tell her you can only get so nekkid when it's 90 at night. At least so long long as your pipes don't freeze, you can put on more clothes.
