Looking for a cape pattern
a full length hooded cape like for a Ren Faire
my Buddy in the UK does not get those neat little cheep patterns we find at Wal Mart and the Like
and I havenot found one that appears smooth online (most are short or with Harsh lines)

This has a nice length and shape. I don't know if you'd want silver, though.

Enchanted Knitting has some wonderful cloaks, but I can't find a picture of them on line.

Is this the book you're talking about, Ingrid?

Enchanted Knitting: Charted Motifs for Hand and Machine Knitting

Maybe it could be had at the library?

That's it! It has some fantastic charts, designed for machine knitting, but useable for hand knitting, as well.

The cloaks are beautiful, too, though they would take a long time to knit, for sure.

As for the library. . . it's not really a 'popular' knitting book, so who knows?
