Would bigger needles help?

I think I made a mistake...

I'm trying to knit the crossover scarf from Nitty Gritty's "The Scarf!" show, but I thought I'd use a fluffier yarn. I'm trying to use Paton's Divine on size 11 needles, but the stitch definition is seriously lacking. I thought that it might only blur it a little bit. Would bigger needles help or should I find something else to do with this yarn?

I think that yarn is just to fluffy to show the pattern well.
