That's great! I'm working on sweater sleeves right now using dpns. I'm about 3/4 of the way finished, and I just NOW feel like I'm getting the hang of them!

Way to go!! Finally got the hang of DPNs (without ladders even!) after doing the sleeves for my sweater.

ok, so I need to ask. . .what are DPNs? And should I be scared of them?

double pointed needles--

They're used to make small diameter knits in the round--think socks, sleeves, tops of hats, that kind of thing.

And no, you shouldn't be scared! Watch Amy's video and you'll see that they only LOOK scary :D
