well i don't know if this is really the right way to do it but when i was watching the knitty gritty video on making the key hole scarf it showed her basically using the M1A increase that can be found here. so that is what i always use.

Yes, that is what I did before. Thanks for reminding me and guiding me to the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have bookmarked it now for future reference...so when I get to the end of this row and have to do it again for the second sleeve I'll know how! Much appreciation. Lynn
