Switching yarn???
Hi there,

Anyone know of a resource (or a formula) to switch yarn in a pattern? Not sure if its possible but here is what I *dream* to do ...

I have a pattern that calls for Rowanspun chunky. The pattern gauge is 19 st = 4' on 8 mm

I have a BOATLOAD of Briggs and Little Regal which knits up 20 sts = 4' on 4.5 mm.

Any chance I can use the Regal with two strands or something?

Cheers

Try this article at knitty.com http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter03/FEATwin03TBP.html

I thought it was pretty informative. It sounds like you could switch practically anything if you take the time to swatch.

Good Luck.
