Questions about double-stranding yarn
So, I want to knit Sophie (http://www.magknits.com/warm04/patterns/sophie.htm). I am planning to use WOTA, and I have a few questions...

1. Would you recommend using a double-stand of yarn to knit this bag in WOTA?

2. If so, should I use a double-strand throughout the whole bag, or just for the bottom?

3. Finally, if I do this, do I need to go up a needle size?

Thanks!!!!!!

Cascade is worsted weight, and WOTA is worsted weight, so you wouldn't have to double it unless you want it to be much bigger.

Thanks Ingid! I just wasn't sure if it would be too flimsy. It seems like a lot of people use a double strand when doing felted bags -- not sure if this is necessary or not.

If someone else has knitted Sophie in WOTA, I'd love to hear how it turned out and if you used single/double strand. Otherwise, I think I'll just go ahead and use a single strand.
