Confusing inst (K16, increase) - HELP!
My instructions read "K16, increase, (YO, SSK) twice". Does this mean that I knit 16, then knit a 17th which I increase? Or, do I knit 15, the knit a 16th which I increase?

You should knit 16, and do a M1 increase (here), and then work the yo ssk two times.

As for the next question, knit three stitches together, then bring the stitch that's second from the point of the right needle up and over the stitch you just make and off the tip, as if you were binding off.
