Unsure when reading pattern.
I have 120 stitches on circular needles. The instructions say:

K19, BO 22 - 1 st on RHN, k16; place these 17 sts on a stitch holder A.

I'm a little confused. If I knit 19 stitches then bind off the next 22, how does that leave me with 1 stitch on the RHN? I would think I have 19 (maybe 20) stitches on my RHN.

So far I've knitted my first 19, and now I'm scared stiff to go any further for fear I'm going to ruin a couple weeks of work!

They just mean to count the one stitch that's left from the bind off as part of the next batch of stitches. They're not including the stitches that you worked already.
