Pattern reading issues
Okay, I posted this the other day, but here it it again with more specifics. It's a baby sweater/cardigan with 3 pannels. The front left reads...Shape neck...Moss st to last 5 sts, patt 3 tog, moss st 2....
The question is, what does patt mean?
Thanks for the input!

patt means pattern, so my guess is you do 3 stitches together as one knit, purl, or whatever stitch the pattern calls for at that point.

I think you would either knit or purl 3 together, depending on whatever stitch would be there if you were only doing one.
