ebay/addi turbo

I seem to remember a while back that there was a thread...a fairly amusing thread...about some guy on ebay that several of you buy your addi's from...I can't remember his name and I wanted to look him up on ebay b/c I've decided to purchase a set of addi turbos and see what I think...anyone remember who I'm talking about???

I'm so scared that I'll like addi turbos so much that I'll stop using my needlemaster set--which I really like and find really handy! :thinking:

and btw--since I've never purchased a pair...I don't know what a good price is so if you can tell me what average vs. good is when purchasing these needles...I'd appreciate it.

His name is jeff_wonderful. He has an e-bay store called My.BestShop. I have bought most of my addi's from him. You can't bet the prices or the fast shipping!!! :D

The price at my LYS was about $16 for one circ so Jeff is way cheaper!

Jeff's prices are about half my LYS. If you can afford the wait in time, he is the way to go. (I think my order took one week and one day.)

Thanks...I was wondering about how long it'd take to get here from HK. I bought two pair, paid shipping and insurance for $23.00!!!!! I guess his prices ARE awesome!

I mistakingly paid for my items through paypal before changing my address to my new address...I just caught it this morning and emailed him...hopefully he'll see my email before the package goes out.!!!

he probably will and i gotta say, a week to wait for something to get from HK isn't long at all. I have had stuff take longer to get here from Canada!

of course it wasn't any of that super dangerous yarn that Ingrid gets from Canada but still takes a long time!

i've purchased from jeff a few times.... i think i rec'd my last package in less than a week... i guess it's all the luck of the draw....
