Knitpicks Hanging Gareden Lace Stole
Has anyone knit this in anything other than the Alpaca Cloud it calls for? I'm not really digging this yarn. It feels kind of ..... rough?

Also, I tried winding a hank into a ball by myself, and now I have alpaca spaghetti.

I'm open to suggestions.
