Guage?
Sorry if this is a question that has been asked before, I am brand new to knitting and am learning from a book which isnt always clear!
I dont understand the whole guage thing, what is it and how do you check it, shouldnt it just be your needle size? My learn to knit kit came with a guage checker and the patterns say to check my guage, I dont understand why I would need to if I am using the right needle size.
