FO: Hand Dyed sock, ruffled scarf, & a purse
Here's my latest FO's. The sock was made from the yarn that I dyed with koolaid. I love the way the colors knitted up! I've started on the second sock, but only have about 2" done so far.

I got the pattern for the scarf off of Lion Brand's website. It was made with homespun yarn. It comes in such pretty colors, but is a pain in the butt to knit with. :(

The purse is out of 'Hollywood Knits Style' by Suss Cousins. I that book! The yarn is called Landscapes. I think LB makes it. I'm thinking of adding a knitted flower to the bottom corner of the purse, but haven't decided on what color to do it in.

That's all for now! :D

I know the patterns are copywrited, but could you tell me the yarn that is recommended, needle size and gauge info?

I want to go ahead and buy my yarn (or get from my stash if I have it) before the book from the library gets here.

Thanks.

Thanks!

Pensguys,
The recommended yarn is Brown Sheep Company's Burly Spun in color # 110 (orange, one skein). Size 15 needles. Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch.
