Increasing on the Sleeves of a Woman's Sweater
What method do I use to increase on the sleeves on a sweater that slopes to the left and what method do I use to have my increasing slope to the right on knit rows?

When I increase on sleeves, I usually just knit in the front and back of the stitch or do a M1 increase one stitch in from the edge. It gets seamed, so you really don't see the increases.

If you're working in the round, I find that the m1 increase is the least visible, and has the smoothest transition to the other stitches IMO. If you're doing it flat, like Ingrid says, it gets hidden in the seaming regardless of which method you use.
May all your projects be frog-less, and all your patterns error-free!
