What to do with hand dyed, hand spun silk wool yarn?
I have acquired some yarn that is of varying thicknesses from slightly larger than sewing machine thread to app. 3/8" thick. Obviously the varying thicknesses throughout the yardage has somewhat surprised me. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate some thoughts from you experienced knitters out there. Thank you in advance.

What you have is called slub yarn, I believe. It knits up kind of bumpy, but cool-looking, too. There's not point in trying to knit it in any kind of stitch pattern since it won't show up very well, but it makes a nice texture by itself.
