Illusion knitting

Ii love this site! My mother taught me to knit when I was 9, now I'm 52 and decided to try it again. I actually got interested last year when I wanted to make a scarf out of Fun Fur. The videos on this site are so great, when I get myself in a mess I can usually figure it out by watching instead of reading in a book. My mother has macular degeneration, so she gave me all her her knitting stuff. I saw illusion knitting on Knitty Gritty and want to give it a try, does anyone know where I could find a pattern with either hearts or stars with instructions that are EASY to follow?

Again..the OP isn't active anymore. There are lots of them on Ravelry though.

Here's a site that may help. There are several patterns already charted and good directions for charting your own.
