My KnitPicks order shipped! -UPDATE!-with PORN!
I ordered some shine for my KAL sweater and some sock yarn...Parade I think.

Just thought I'd point out that they didn't charge me shipping even though I only spent $30!

Just got mine :)
You know the last knitpicks catalog with the fuzzy green ribbed cardigan with a single button closure at the top?

http://www.knitpicks.com/Projects/it...play_Yarn.aspx

I ordered the yarn for it and it just came - GORGEOUS!! Suri dream in Fern and Merino Style in Asparagus - held together. I can't wait to start!

BUT I won't be starting it for awhile. I'm on my way to Japan next week and am taking an easy Lion brand beret to knit on the plane, and a smallish baby blanket project that is 1/5th of the way done to knit there since we will be in a van going hither and thither every day for 3 weeks. Also I am taking an afghan project for my daughter, but will only knit it the 3 days I'm with her in California. I want her to see how long it takes to do just a little bit! HA! Since it is a request from her, in worsted wt yarn, I think the appreciation factor may go up if she sees.

I had thought of taking socks as a trip project, but I have yet to learn how to do the heel or toe. I got started on two at a time on 2 circs, but have not gotten as far as I had hoped before the trip. It's a bit too unweildy anyway, although 1 at a time on 2 smaller cirs would probably be just right. I imagine dpns on a trip would be awkward.

Warm fuzzies to my knitting sisters,
Laura

Here you go! The Shine in sky is for the Sweater KAL tank top. The others are some WOTA in daffodil and rain for eggs, but I don't like the daffodil. Not easery so I'll save it for something else. The other is Parade.

Pretty! I like the daffodil, but I agree that it's not very Easter-y.
