What is a French Knitting Bee?
I saw one in the store along with knitting supplies and wondered what it is and what it is for? Anyone have pictures of something made from this gadget?

They make icords. Did you ever have a little tube of some kind with nails or pegs on top that you wrapped the yarn around and pulled loops over the nails? The cord came out the bottom?

I suppose you could, but I doubt it's easier or as neat. My kids had them and made little animals with them. . . or just made lengths of cords that laid around for a while.
