symbols in a pattern
I was looking at the patterns on this site and I found the one for the knitted peace sign, I printed off the pattern and looked at what the different symbols meant, however the peace sign is maked with blank squares, what should I do? Should I just knit?

It looks like all the squares are given symbols except for the ones that actually make up the peace sign, and judging by the picture I'd say that those stitches are knit on the right side and purled on the wrong side.
