Cotton Ease

Whilst cleaning up the stash this weekend, I discovered that I had at least 10 balls each of red, turquoise, purple, orange and hot pink Cotton Ease (all purchased at clearance at Joanns). I think the idea was that I would have enough for cardigans and/or tanks in each color. Even at 1.50/skein, I shudder at the amount I spent.

I belonged to the cotton ease group at yahoo, but its kind of fizzled as most people have used up alot of theirs.

I am looking for pattern ideas that you all may have used for this yarn that worked. I have some bookmarked - but am looking for more ideas!

I did this hat with Bernat cotton tots. Its a worsted weight cotton yarn similar to cotton ease with a bit smaller guage. But I imagine the pattern I made up will work well for it. Granted..... you'll have to make a lot of hats to use up all your yarn.
