You know you knit a lot when
your 2 year old gets one of those suckers from the grocery store clerk with a loop instead of a stick and when he is done with it he exclaims, "Taaaa Daaaa! Knitting needles" and holds the loop like circular needles.

My kids just take my knitting needles and crochet hooks and try to knit and crochet stuff like extension cords, or my cell phone charger!

Didn't know they still made suckers with the loop handles. Thought they had been discontinued. I'd prefer to give them out to small Trick or Treaters rather than the stick handles which could possibly injure a small child.
