Knitting abacus or beaded row counter...
I think it's sort of like a beaded stitch marker, but you use beads on a loop of wire to keep track of your row or pattern repeats (like repeat these 2 rows 10 times). Does anyone have a pattern or design for one...I would like make one (or several!) since I have all this beading stuff now...I better put it to good use! LOL!

I don't have one. I used to use a child's abacus I had. I prefered it to a row counter when I didn't need it to be portable. But then I had grandchildren and it only takes one tip of the abacus to lose my place.

Now they try and play with my row counter instead, so I need to get a locking one

Those are all gorgeous. You know what I use as a row counter? Here we have a fragrance for men called Lynx - There in the US it is called Axe.

Well one of the fragrances is called Click and you probably know the click ad with Ben Affleck in it? Well they had a thing here where you could send off for a free clicker. So I immediately though this was a great idea and sent off for it.

I find it really handy, it comes with a ring on it to fit over a finger (or thumb).
