I think this would be great!!! It would be really cook if it could help you design other things too. Like tank tops, blouses, shawls, and maybe bags. The ideas are endless, though some of mine may be to simple to bother putting in a program like that.

I would love it if I could plug in a design already in existance and have it modify to my proportions.

I'd like to be able to put in design elements, like different stitch patterns and/or cables and actually see what the design would look like. Also maybe different colors?

Be cool if it would give you options on how to knit too.

In the round, on straights, top down, or bottom up.

Maybe even let you adjust the pattern for different yarns thicker or thinner based on a knit guage.

Same this is very much what I'd want. To be able to load in an existing design and load in my measurements to have it then give me the new adapted pattern. Frankly this is what would be the one single major selling point of any software. I'd like to be able to design my own using it too but definately the resizing is a major one for me.
