ruffly flowered hat for baby
Here is a hat I made for a dear friend's first grandbaby based on the pattern called "A Little Hat". I can't wait to see it on her.
Needles: sz 9 circulars (2 pair)
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk, Colour 25009

The flower I added was based on Paton's "fabulous felted flowers" pattern- I used the pattern for the small petals only.

Time: ~1 to 1 1/2 days to knit at my pace.

What I learned/tips to share: I think I'd prefer the rose flower pattern that the original author used for this hat. If I knit it again that's what I plan on trying. The Paton's flower pattern is a bit too floppy for my taste with this hat.
