Spinning Newfoundland fur

We have a brown Newfoundland who sheds twice a year the most wonderful soft undercoat. I am not a spinner but believe it would make fabulous yarn. If someone would like to try some, drop me an email and I will send you some to play with.

There are a couple of places that specialize in pet spinning This is a place I have heard good things about, but if you do a google search for "spinning pet fur" or something similar you will get a lot of links. I think it is good to go with someone who kind of "specializes" in it as some people have described it as being more difficult to work with than other hair/fur.
