I think I dropped a stitch in a YO! Help!

I think I have dropped a stitch in the middle of the yarn over on my broadripple sock. I thought I had it fixed, so I kept on knitting. When I got back to that spot, there was a huge hole, bigger than the yo holes on the rest of the sock. There isn't a stitch that keeps going down the sock (making a ladder). Is there a way to fix this without having to frog it?
