So I decided to do the
Belt de Jour pattern for the Interweave Press One Skein secret pal project. (Anyone else know about this program? It's fun!)
Anyhow, here's the part that loses me:
Row 3: Sl1 pwise, p1, cable patt row 3, p2.
And the cable pattern row 3 is:
C4b, c4f
Ok, I've done cables once before and the directions tell me when to slip the stitches, whether to put them in back or front, etc. Basically, a true idiot's step-by-step guide. These directions from the SnB Nation book assume things, I think, for the sake of brevity.
So my question: when I reach this part of the pattern, do I slip 4 stitches onto the cable needle, drop it in back, knit the next 4 stitches from the left needle, throw the cable needle to the front then knit those? What does it mean?!
Thanks in advance for all the help, guys!
