Knitting with markers
I have knitted my way up from scarves I am attempting a hat now. How do I work with Markers. It says to cast on and after the first 12 slip marker and then every 26 from there until a total of 6 markers. Then when I am knitting I don't use them until I start decreaseing. I started knitting and my markers ended up way down at the bottom of my knitting. I am so confused!

Your markers go on your needles, not your yarn or stitches. They kind of work as a book mark. Just put them on the needle where the tell you to, and slip them from one needle to the other as you get to them.
