It doesn't have the most fantastic selection but does have some nice sock yarns, I personally reeeeally like confetti sock yarn and they have lots of selection there, solids and self-striping. Good prices and I'm MOST excited about ANY site that has free shipping to Canada.

Does these 75% superwash wool/25% nylon shrink after a warm machine wash? What about the Paton of 80% wool and 20% Acrylic? Shrink? Felt?

I think the socks stretch out a bit with wear, and shrink back a bit when washed. I've never had them shrink so that they are unusable afterwards though.

As for 80% wool, 20% acrylic, if it says superwash or if it says machine washable, it will not felt. If it says handwash only it may felt if machine washed, although it would never felt as fully as 100% wool because of the synthetic content.

Gosh, it was some time ago, I got a solid red and co-ordinating stripe yarn that I can remember, I knit these xoxo cable socks for my daughter with some of the yarn.
