Pretty Vintage Baby Sweater Pattern

I have the sweetest baby cardigan pattern from an old Woman's Day magazine (July 1957).

It's the sweater that Grace Kelly knit for her daughter, Princess Caroline.

I just uploaded the pattern to Flickr, to make it easy for everyone to use!

I love glam hollywood era.. their movies and actors/actress just don't compare to now days.. so with my history with movies.. and my cousin expecting her first in Dec. I think this would be nice

oh if you wouldn't mind, I'd love it too! My bestest best friend is expecting her first in December and eventhough it's being kept low key at the moment, I am very much on the lookout for cute doable patterns and maybe test some of them already so I know what I can and can't make for the baby

It's a bit sad actually; my friend is manic-depressed and has been taking a different type of medication for the last two years because she was told this one wouldn't be damaging to her pregnancy and last week during a check-up the university hospital told her that new research shows the medication in fact does influence a pregnancy.
This could be why she miscarried the last two times

So now she has to get of those drugs in the shortest possible time and when she's a bit further along, they'll do a couple of test to see if the baby is alright.

So, when it turns out everything is alright, this baby is going to be celebrated big time

Hmm, long story short: I'd love to have a copy of the pattern :D
