Crew neck question
When doing a crew neck should I bind off in pattern or just knit bind off?

When I've done crewnecks, I usually have knit them twice as long as I want them to be and then folded them over. The edge in that case gets sewn to the seam where I picked up the stitches, so the bind off never mattered. Makes a nice collar.

However, for a crewneck that's not doubled, Straight knit bind off may prevent it from being wavy, but I'm not really sure.
