I'm trying to finish up a graduate program in Library Sciences to become a Librarian as a career change.

I've used LibraryLady on other boards, and am too CRS ridden to consider another name. Even though I'm sure there is more than one librarian on this board.

You beat me to this question, I was going to post the same thing! I'm interested to see what everyone's answer is. screen name is one I started using because I wanted an alias (the internet being what it is) something different enough so as to be available anywhere I tried to register........that way I could use it wherever I the name came from one of my favorite X-Files episodes (being the X-file-o-phile that I am )........Ariel Luria was the name of a character in an episode named Kaddish (season 4). Oddly enough it turns out that the Hebrew equivalent of both my husband & my names is almost the same name............<insert eeeerie X-files music here>

"Lu" IS short for my real name.

Nikkibeans is a nickname my best friend from college gave me. I met her the first day freshman year, and it kind of stuck. She still calls me Nikkibeans every time we talk.

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

On the sticks:
monkey socks
branching out scarf
my so called scarf
