Having been a preemie myself (2lbs 4 oz and 10 weeks early) and my best friend's baby having been early (6 weeks and 4lbs) I can say with almost certainty if he is 5 lbs and has no breathing issues, they will more than likely schedule a car seat test (you will need to bring the seat to the hospital and they will hook him up for a while--anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours--to make sure he is not going to stop breathing or have any type of difficulty) and he will be discharged hopefully fairly quickly!

He is a gorgeous baby and very big for a prem! Congrats!
