kitty pi bed
Since Moshi has decided that he must sleep in boxes I decided that it was past time for me to make a kitty pi bed for him.
1st of all, I increased the size of the pattern because Mo is a huge (17 lbs) cat! I used double stranded WOTA and size 11 Options (love, love). I used 5 different colors and striped the bed using the fibonacci sequence. The colors that I chose are the colors that are in our rug so that it will match our home better than the boxes that he claims

Almost forgot...I didn't include the fun fur yarn (simply because I don't have any, nor have I ever had any, for some reason, I don't seem to like it...perhaps one day) and used an icord bind off.

What a pretty kitty! The bed looks great!

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.

Becka - Moshi is one gorgeous kitty!!! He's like snow

I want to make one of these, but I'm scared that Miss Monkers will not use it. Of course if I set it on top of something else, and pretend it's not for her, she might get in it. She does have a thing lately for basket shaped beds.

How big did you increase the pattern? I have biggie kittes too, and have always wanted to make this for them! But since they are 14.5 lbs and 15 lbs respectively I didn't want to insult them with ill fitting beds! :rofling:

Awesome! I have that pattern saved in my favorites. I have three cats and I know one of them will love this bed. Good job!
