last two kitchner stitches
First-THANK YOU AMY. The video of the stitch taught me the dreaded stitch without a tear shed.

Okay, on with the question. I get the knit, purl, purl, knit of the thing. I also understand starting as if those first two stitches were the second stitches, but what about the end of the toe? When you only have two stitches left? What do I do with them?

Through the front stitch as to knit, off and pull through.

Through the back stitch as to purl, off and pull through.

Thanks Denise! I did that but didn't pull it tight or weave in the end of the yarn just in case it had to be taken out.
Thanks again,
