What yarn can I buy in place of this one?

I found a pretty bag on Interweave site that I'd like to knit. The yarn they are calling for seems to only be sold in the UK.

Can anyone think of another yarn that I could use in place of this one.

The yarn reminds me of the inexpensive one that Walmart sells "Homespun" that no one seems to like. I'm open to suggestions.
