Cuff of sock
When knitting the cuff of a sock on double pointed needles, I always pull the yarn tight when going to the next needle. Why then, when looking at the cuff do I see uneven knitting at the place where the needles are joined? I am knitting my first pair of socks and the cuff is k1 p1. Thanks for any help. Donna

It's not so much your technique, but the nature of knitting in the round. You're not really knitting in circles, but rather in a spiral, that there is a jog when going from one row to the next.
