How do I shrink?
I've made a wonderful cabled fingerless glove, and being a bit new to knitting myself, I followed her pattern and cast on too many stitches. (She must have had a very large hand). So now I have this monster glove! And I'm just wondering if it's possible to shrink it a size or two, being that my hand and arm are somewhat swimming in the yarn. I've heard that if you soak it in water, wear it, and blowdry it on your hand it fits to the shape of your hand. Will that possibly work?
Let me know!

What kind of yarn did you use?? If it was 100% wool you would be able to lightly and carefully felt it to shrink it to size. If you used a synthetic fiber you will have a hard time shrinking it at all.
