Charity event
I want to raise money for charity by doing a sponsored knit, however I am not sure quite how to go about doing it.

Do you think it would be better to get people to sponsor me to knit as much as I can in a day, for example I cast on 20 sts and aim to make a scarf as long as possible before the end of the day. So people sponsor me per row, or sponsor me per ? rows. xxx

Or do you think it would be better to get people to sponsor me to knit a scarf (or other item) 100cms long (or to just complete the item) in a day?

Or do people have any other suggestions?

:D

Maybe you could find a really quick pattern (think one-hour baby booties or mittens, preemie hats and blankies, that sort of thing) and get sponsored per finished item? Plus at the end you would have lots of things to donate to the NICU.
