Feather & Fan Scarf
I would love to make a few scarves for presents using the feather and fan pattern. The pattern I found on Knit Picks is using lace weight yarn. Could I use anothe weight of yarn if I wanted to with out losing the pattern?

Thanks!

Because it's a scarf, I'd say yes because the gauge is not important. If you're using a much heavier weight yarn you might want to decrease the number of pattern repeats you do so it still remains a scarf and doesn't turn into a shawl, unless that's what you want.

Go for it!! Feather and fan is lovely no matter what gauge you use.
