me plus husband plus 13 yr old boy. Mon and Thurs are laundry days. I wash my bras by hand and hang them in my bathroom. in the machine: all lights 1 load, all darks 1 load. sometimes in the colder months because of bulkier clothing, there are 2 dark loads. Dyl's tae kwon do uniform also gets washed 3x/week by itself - Mon, Wed, and Sat. I still hate doing laundry even after having this same routine for years.

With a 16 mo old who is also cloth diapered, we do lots of laundry.
I have two sets of sheets for my bed, and I rotate them so that I don't have to fold. I'm glad I'm not the only lazy one.
I hate folding my daughter's clothes...it seems like her hamper is a bottomless pit because folding goes on and on and on...ugh.

Oo-oo-oo! Cloth diapers. I didn't think anyone used them anymore. Both my kids broke out in rashes from the paper kind (the few times I tried to use them). Their bottoms required the "real thing." Of course...a-hem...I had a diaper service. I don't think anyone has that service anymore. But it was wonderful!!

Can't kids just run wild and let nature take it's course??? Maybe that's why I don't have kids...

I've always hated doing laundry, but since we bought our condo it's even worse! I love the condo, which is in a historic building, but one problem... there isn't a vent for the dryer, and historic building = no new holes in the exterior. There are (free) communal washers/dryers down in the scary, scary basement (did I mention the scary?) But you have to travel down 2 flights of stairs and outdoors in order to get there. I've pretty much bargained the other half into doing laundry, but I still have to fold because he doesn't like to.

I didn't know how good I had it when I had my own washer/dryer!

I don't mind the laundry
I don't mind doing laundry as long as we keep on top of it. It's usually one load a day. DH will not fold, so I make him put up. The sheet issue...I keep buying Egyptian cotton sheets, I can't get enough. But I have finally gotten the folding thing right with the fitted ones. You fold the pockets into each other, then fold in just the rounded elastic edges, then you have a nice neat rectangle. DH has a problem with leaving ink pens in his pockets. And they always end up in the same load as my brand new work clothes.

Anyway I am really quick at folding as long as it's only one load at a time. I also don't have kids yet.

It's the dishes I have. Squishy bits of wet food on your hands. And DH insists that we must wash the dishes before they can go into the dishwasher. Yech.

LOL, looks like I am the lone one in the bunch...I don't really mind doing the laundry, since it's now just me and Lonnie at home we don't have much...virtually no handwash, other than knitted items. LOL, it's like I told my doc (he is a pain specialist to help control my pain) that you know I'm happy to not be in excruciating pain 24/7 now because I now enjoying doing the laundry...just because I can
