Knitting Terms
Hi, I am working on a pattern that is very frustrating.....I am assuming that cast off is the same as bind off....but what is fasten off?? Has anyone any idea about that ? Is it the same? Thanks!! Linda

If it's a hat, fasten off usually means to thread a piece of yarn through those last stitches at the top and pull into a closed circle. In any event, fasten off ends the piece.
