Well I'm somewhat disappointed in this pair of clogs. They felted nicely, but I guess I didnt tie the cuff off well at all because it came loose on BOTH of them.

I was going to give this pair to Charlotte that works at the LYS and is such a lovely lady. She has arthritis so bad that she cant knit her own clogs So I offered to make her a pair. Hopefully I can save these.

I used cascade 220 and andes ... the fuzzy is some crystal palace stuff. I think I'm over that bit of it too... just normal clogs for now on. (Maybe thats part of my problem with the cuff... )

I like them!!! I think the colors you chose are great, and the furry stuff matches the wool nicely!

My clogs came apart at the heel/cuff join the first time I made them. Now, I really really REALLy reienforce that area, especially since that's the place where all the yarn is joined and it's loose. I don't follow the stitches or anything, I just weave the yarn in and out all over; you can't tell when it's felted.

Oooh, love it! What pretty colors.

I CO last night for my very first clog. I haven't had much time to work on them, but am now at the point of seaming the inner sole of the first one and then doing the bumper (I'm doing the children's clog, size small). I this pattern! It is so fun, and so clever. I finally understand the addiction.

Well I did just that, I was able to sew it and they went home with their new owner yesterday. (They were still damp, she figured she could make them fit perfectly if she wore them wet... LOL Not a bad idea really...)

I've done that when a pair has felted a little too much-- give them to their new owner wet... then they get a very custom pair- fitted exactly to them!!
